01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Good Save Studios Inc ("Good Save Studios," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using any application offered by Good Save Studios Inc, you agree to comply with these Terms and with our standards. If you do not agree, please do not use our applications.
02Eligibility
Our games are made for general audiences of all ages. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf and permits your use of our applications. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you.
03Your licence to play
Subject to these Terms, Good Save Studios grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our applications on a device you own or control, solely for your own personal entertainment.
This licence does not transfer any ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of our applications, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
04Acceptable use
Our applications and services are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to use any Good Save Studios application for any illegal, harmful, or disruptive purpose.
Without limiting that, you agree not to:
- Use our applications to break any applicable law or regulation.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our applications, systems, or other users' devices.
- Use cheats, exploits, automation, bots, or modified software to gain an unfair advantage or to alter intended gameplay.
- Resell, commercialize, or redistribute access to our applications or their content.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate Good Save Studios or any other person.
05Code of conduct and company standards
We want our games to be welcoming and fun for everyone. When using our applications and when contacting us, you agree to act respectfully and not to engage in abusive, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful behavior. Our code of conduct and company standards form part of these Terms, and we may update them from time to time.
06Full version and purchases
Some games offer a paid full version that removes advertising. All purchases are processed by the applicable app store — the Apple App Store or Google Play — under that store's own terms and payment policies. Good Save Studios does not process or handle your payment.
Because of this, refunds, billing questions, and purchase disputes are governed by the policies of the store where you bought the game, and must be handled through that store. Any purchase grants you continued access to the paid features for the device and account through which it was made, subject to the store's rules.
07Intellectual property
The Good Save Studios Inc name, logo, branding, and our custom games — including the original assets, designs, and the enhanced rules and expanded gameplay we create — are the intellectual property of Good Save Studios Inc and are protected by applicable law.
Many of our games build on open-source or publicly available game concepts, the underlying rules of which we do not claim to own. What we own and protect are our own creative additions: our enhancements to those rules, our expanded range of play, and the assets and presentation we develop to deliver an engaging and fun user experience. You may not use our name, logo, or custom content without our prior written permission.
08Third-party services
Our applications rely on third-party services that operate under their own terms, including Google and Apple sign-in, the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the advertising network used in the free version of our games. Your use of those services is subject to the providers' own terms and policies, and Good Save Studios is not responsible for them.
Advertisements in the free version may link to external websites that we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third-party site.
09Suspension by us
Good Save Studios reserves the right to suspend or restrict accounts, or to limit access to our applications, where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, our code of conduct, or our company standards, or has acted in a way that harms other users, our services, or our reputation. Where practical and appropriate, we may give notice, but we may act without prior notice when the circumstances require it.
10Ending your use
You may stop using our applications at any time by uninstalling them from your device. These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use our applications, and the sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply after you stop using them.
11Disclaimer of warranties
Our applications are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Save Studios makes no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our applications will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from bugs, or that they will meet your expectations.
12Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Save Studios Inc and its officers, owners, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, our applications.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to our applications is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the application giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts located in Ontario, Canada will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our applications, subject to any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your own jurisdiction.
14Changes to these terms & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version and notify users on our website at www.goodsavestudios.com. Your continued use of our applications after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
